You’ve been told your body is a machine. It isn’t.
I've been in this work for nearly twenty years. Living it, training in it, and building a personal practice that has evolved as I have.
From 2017 to 2022 I owned Flowstate: Muscle Club and Movement Studio in Fox Park. The most beloved session of the week was called The Scorpion Club: every Friday morning, 6:30am, with a group of folks dedicated to the practice. Flowstate closed in 2022, but the spirit of that time never did. It’s stayed with me through everything I’ve learned since, and now it’s shaping the next chapter: The Scorpion Club STL.
Over the years I’ve trained with some of the foremost practitioners in physical culture, natural movement, martial arts, and breathwork. I consider myself a student, a practitioner, and an artist. And ultimately, I believe a practice is about being and becoming — nothing more.
I work with a small number of people, by design, in a private studio in St. Louis, and offer offsite training as well.

The system is the same for everyone, but the approach never is.
There are no templates here. The first thing we do is listen — to what your body is already doing, already saying, already asking for. From there, the work is built around you, not applied to you.
Every session follows the same natural arc. You’ll leave feeling better than when you arrived, every time.
The goal isn't a better version of yourself. It's a return to what you've always been.
